Little Sprouts Farm Workshops
Third Friday of Every Month | 9:00–11:00 AM | $10 per child
Join us at Shari Ann Farms in Kiowa for a monthly children’s workshop designed to reconnect kids with nature, creativity, and the rhythms of the garden.
In a world that moves quickly and spends more time indoors, these mornings on the farm are meant to slow things down. Children will spend time exploring soil, seeds, plants, and natural materials while learning simple gardening concepts and creating seasonal projects.
Each gathering includes a hands-on activity, time outdoors on the farm, and opportunities for kids to use their imagination while working with flowers, plants, and natural elements. Our goal is to help children develop a love for nature, understand where food comes from, and learn to notice the beauty God placed in the natural world around them.
These mornings are relaxed, creative, and welcoming for families looking for meaningful outdoor experiences for their children.
Important Booking Information
• Price: $10 per child
• Please select the quantity to match the number of children attending
• This is not a drop-off event. Parents or guardians must remain on the property.
• Parents are encouraged to participate alongside their children, helping them create and explore during the workshop.
March Workshop: Resurrection Gardens
At our first Little Sprouts gathering, each child will create their own Resurrection Garden, a miniature garden that represents the Easter story.
Using soil, stones, moss, and simple materials, children will build a small garden scene with a tomb and three crosses. We will then plant real grass seed in the garden that will sprout and grow in the days leading up to Easter, creating a living reminder of the story.
Children will take their gardens home to place in a sunny window and watch the grass grow throughout the week. It becomes a beautiful visual way for families to talk about hope, new life, and the message of Easter.
Coming in April: Seed Starting on the Farm
At our April 17th Little Sprouts class, children will learn how gardeners start plants from seed. Each child will get their hands in the soil as we plant seeds together and learn how tiny seeds become the plants that fill our gardens and kitchens.
More details will be shared soon, but this class will introduce kids to the magic of growing something from the very beginning.
